This program provides individuals with the opportunity and responsibility of living in and maintaining a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment.
This program differs from the congregate or group home setting by providing more limited staff supports. The residents are focused on practicing their independent living skills, including: self-care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, money management, leisure time planning, etc. Residents may also work on accepting greater responsibility for self-medication. Diversity provides transportation to and from work, appointments, shopping and other outings.
Independent Living Supports are provided to adults (18 and older) by offering skill building and support in securing a self-sustaining, independent living situation in the community and/or may provide the support necessary to maintain those skills.
This program provides intermittent residential supports in an apartment setting.
